Turning The Page
The Lavender Project was a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and queer-led community initiative rooted in visibility, connection, and care. Our mission was to bring people together by providing free LGBTQIA2S+ literature, resources, and outreach events while creating safe, welcoming spaces for all.
After much consideration and with a heavy heart, we've decided to bring The Lavender Project to an end.
Our little traveling library was built on the belief that everyone deserves to find themselves in a book, and to know they aren't alone. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us fill those shelves and carry those stories.
While our library is closing, the work continues. Please click the link below to find organizations and resources carrying this work forward.

Thank you to every organization and every individual who gave us the space, resources, encouragement, and strength to keep moving forward. These memories—and the people who made them possible—will stay with us.
